A mix between sea-turtle and seahorse. “Hippochelonia” typically come in shades of purple and pale/desaturated greens. They are curious by nature but also very shy. They love to observe other creatures at a distance and will rarely try to directly engage, making them elusive. In legend and folklore, there are many tales of them carrying befriended folk on their back, and even learning to speak different tongues. But nobody has ever been able to confirm this as true or not, due to their shy nature. Perhaps if someone were to befriend one somehow, they might discover their true intelligence and secrets.
